Tulip Festival

2011 Tulip Festival

This Years Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point was beyond Exceptional!!!  The tulips were in full bloom and seemed much more vibrant with all the rain and cooler temperatures!  We picked the perfect day (and the last day of the festival) to go with my dad and step-mom, since the weather was perfect.  The Gardens at T-Point are beautiful and so much to see.  I forget how big it is there.  We enjoyed some festival food and entertainment after walking around.  We will definitely make this an annual "Mothers Day Weekend" tradition!!  Thank you family for taking me :)!

Mothers Day 2011

My Mothers Day Flowers

I am so blessed to be a mom to 3 wonderful kids and the wife to a fabulous husband!!
We spent Mothers Day enjoying some sunny, warm weather, and had Scotts family over for a barbecue.  It was a great, relaxing weekend spending it together at baseball games, Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival, and even a 'date night'.  I couldn't have asked for a better weekend!!
My Sweet Little Girl----what would I do without you?!

My kids all took a picture with me at the same time?!?!

I'm even a mom to our first "baby", Kirby

Butterflies!!!

Parkers adorable neighborhood buddies...they are truly the Three Amigos!

It finally warmed up enough to release our butterflies!  We ordered some caterpillars and got to see the metamorphosis (this was one of Maddox's first grade spelling words!!) take place.  It was amazing to watch up close the changes from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies.

Happy 5th Birthday Parker

We celebrated Parkers birthday at Jungle Jim's.  I forget what a fun place this is for young kids---especially on cold, rainy days like it was this year!  They all had fun on the rides, arcade games, pizza/cake, and pinata!!  Fun to have neighborhood friends, cousins, and friends that we haven't seen in a while all join in on the fun!!!  Happy Birthday my sweet Parker!!! What a fun 5 years it's been with you....now STOP getting older!!!

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!!  Once again, the Easter Bunny had to hide all the eggs in our basement since there was snow in the forecast!  The kids didn't mind though.  Kensley had fun finding the eggs once she figured out why her brothers were running around like crazy.  The favorite eggs of course, were the ones that the Easter Bunny filled with money!!  Like tradition, the Easter Bunny hid the baskets, and provided a scavenger hunt for them to find them.  This year's baskets were hiding in the mud room closet!  After Easter Service at church, we had my dad and step-mom, and my sister and nephews over for a yummy Easter ham.  A nice way to end a fun day!!!

SPRING BASEBALL!!

Spring Baseball has started!!!  This year, both Maddox and Parker are playing.  It is soooo fun to watch them play!  It reminds me of the time when I used to go and watch Scott play baseball at UNLV.  Maddox has now decided that baseball is his favorite sport!  We love to practice catch in the backyard where even Kensley is learning to catch with her new mitt.  Now if we could just have the weather cooperate with us, it would be a perfect season!!
