Kensley's 5 months!

What fun is having a girl if you can't show her off some?! It's been an exciting month with the beginning of Spring (which of course includes a whole new wardrobe :) ), and getting her ears pierced! She's been talking (shrieking) up a storm, and LOVES eating her rice cereal, baths, and most of all, her brothers!!

Cabo Vacation

We just got back from our Cabo San Lucas vacation---without the kids! We had such a great time...it was so warm and relaxing!! We went with our friends, Brad and Kristin, and stayed at an all-inclusive resort called 'Dreams' (I would highly recommend it if you go to Cabo). Scott had never been to Mexico before, and I hadn't been since I was younger (not counting Tijuana:) ). When we weren't relaxing at the pool, we were eating in one of the great restaurants, or participating in one of the nightly entertainment shows. We even went to a pub crawl to downtown Cabo one night (and in to the early morning :)). That was quite the adventure---quite a long story actually, which included throwing-up 17yr olds in our van, to a (very) intoxicated women in our group, and Scott and I getting lost between 2 clubs. We did visit the famous Cabo Wabo which had great music, and shot-glass size Margarita's for $9 (!!). For the entertainment, Scott and Kristin were chosen the first night for a pirate show which proved to be pretty funny, and I got chosen the following night to lasso a mexican cowboy (don't ask---notice you don't see any pictures!). We also learned to salsa dance and played Texas Hold' Em on Casino Night. We also ate...a lot. It was great having whatever you wanted to eat and drink at all times. Great restaurants too---from Seafood to Japanese to Italian (they didn't have a mexican restaurant...go figure). Kristin and I even participated in the water aerobics which included some water ballet moves, and giving each other back massages (Kristin was lucky enough to massage one of the actors on the soap opera, "Passions")...whew, it was quite the work-out! To top it off, we could do whale watching from the comfort of our lounge chairs at the pool...amazing! We had a great trip, and if it wasn't for our kids, we would have found a way to stay longer! Especially when we found out we were returning to snow in Salt Lake!
