Maddox Turns "5"!

Maddox is five years old already! We celebrated his birthday by opening presents from family and going out to dinner at The Mayan. On Saturday, we celebrated with friends at Classic Fun Center. The theme, of course, was "The Transformers" and we reserved the Game Cave Room where there was unlimited use of the arcade! We had 16 of his friends who came and they all had such a good time on their scooters, playing in the inflatables, and the jungle gyms! Such a fun place for birthdays! He got a lot of great gifts: transormers, Star Wars toys, Speed Racers, and the list goes on! Parker is still talking about the party, and asks me when we can go back daily...he had such a good time with cousin Sawyer! I still can't believe 5 years have gone by already!

"Watch out Vegas...Here I come!"

Over Valentines weekend, we went to Vegas. We were able to drop the boys off in St. George with Grandma/Grandpa "K", while we went to Vegas for an Orthodontic Marketing Course. Scott had signed me up as well since I have been doing a lot of his marketing, and we thought that Kensley would just sleep during most of it so that we could both attend together. Well, she had other ideas. Though she didn't cry, she certainly made her presence known!! After all, it was her first time in Vegas, and the last thing she wanted to do was sit in some boring conference room all day! So mom and Kensley toured the casino, visited with Aunt Nina, had a margarita at "Margaritaville" (well, mom had a margarita!) all while Scott was in class. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped, but it was still a lot nicer than it was here in Utah. We had a fun time spending Valentines together all of us in St. George. Scott got a chance to golf, while mom did a little birthday shopping for Maddox. It was a nice, relaxing get-away for a few days---it was certainly hard to come back to snow! I'm so wanting Spring to hurry up and get here already!

Much more happier not being in a class all day---poor daddy!

Happy Valentines Day!

Baby Dedications

Last Sunday was 'Baby Dedications' at church. So of course we dressed Kensley up in her most frilly dress for her big day on stage! She was surprisingly good, and didn't fuss whatsoever! She actually seemed very comfortable on stage and with the crowd. Aunt Jen, Aunt Angie/Uncle Anthony, and Nana/Papa came to the service as well.
How blessed we are to have such a wonderful Pastor and church body in our lives!! We don't know what we would do without South Mountain Community Church!

Cinderella Ball

Last Friday, our church had a Daddy Daughter Valentine Dance....A Cinderella Ball! Thanks to our friends Jorge and Ginger who planned the whole event! I volunteered to help serve, so was able to see all the adorable girls with their dads! Too sweet! Some dads went all out complete with a tux and the girls with their princess dresses and tiarra's. There was a dance floor and great music that made me want to get out and bust a move! Scott took Kensley, and I think she was the youngest daughter there! I am already looking forward to next years dance...maybe I'll ask my dad to go with me!
