Kensley's 4 weeks old---already!

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks already! What a great baby she has been so far---an angel! I want time to slow down! She already can't fit in her newborn size clothes! How fun it is to dress her up and put bracelets, and hair bows in her hair. It reminds me of when I used to play with dolls when I was little! Who knew a little girl could be such fun!

Visit from Aunt Nina

My sister, Nina, came to visit us last week from Las Vegas. It was great that she was able to take time off of school and work to come up and meet Kensley. We pretty much just hung out at here at home, but we were able to sneak away to the mall, just us girls, for one morning. Nina even took a picture as we were walking in of Kensleys first trip to the mall :) ! The boys of course LOVE their aunt Nina and every morning since she has left, Parker has asked where "nana" is. I just wish she lived here in Salt Lake since we all love her and she is a great nanny for all the kids! Thanks Nina for another fun visit! Hopefully we will get to Vegas soon!!

Halloween 2008

The moment we stepped out on our porch to go trick or treating, it started raining of course! It didn't put a damper on the boys excitement though! They were already on a sugar high from the earlier Halloween parties at school. We just bundled Kensley in her Baby Bjorn under Scott's jacket, and off we went. We have the best circle to go trick or treating though. One house served us parents some hot cider and bourban (something I had never tried before...and could only tolerate a sip or two) that we took with us from house to house, and another gave us some beer!! The boys loved getting all the candy and would race from one door to the next. Parker kept insisting at every house that "it's not scawy (scary) right?! It's just pretent (pretend)...it's silly!" But knew that deep down inside, he really was scared about the blow up Halloween figures, and scary music, etc. For whatever reason, we had more trick or treaters than we ever had before which was fun! We were all lucky to have such mild weather this year too (despite the rain). It could have been like today with the snow!
